Internet Works For Networks – Network Marketing Opportunities Online

March 30th, 2010

Network marketing opportunity is not new in the current global market. It has been there before the internet revolutionized the multi-level marketing. Tupperware, Avon, Amway, Forever Living and any insurance plan are the pioneers. These companies have actually practices concepts and methods of network marketing. They have recruited network of people to form their sales and distribution force. They also have offered multi-level compensation plans and often were home-based, supplemental and full-time business opportunity.

Finding and even creating these network marketing opportunities is difficult before. Though conventional ads like TV, radio and prints were already available before the internet emerged, those opportunities rarely reached the interested market. The network marketing opportunities may have reached the market through malls, superstores and retail stores, but only limited in scale.

Researching (more) for network marketing opportunities was costly to interested market. A captured consumer, after watching a product ad on TV, would have to commute to the nearest malls to actually experience (and buy) the product or service. If the product or service is shortly available outside your country, then you have to fly to the host country.

Same true to joining network marketing opportunities, which you have probably read in news ad. Network marketing events, where product are presented, were also limited before. They were often visible only in key cities. If you resided in the countryside, then you also have to travel.

When internet was introduced, market gaps and costs were trimmed especially in joining network marketing opportunities. Internet basically provided detailed information of such opportunities that an interested person would not necessarily travel anymore to the nearest mall, host country or key city where the product or service is available. He/she just have to study the product details online at home or nearest internet shop. The internet cost might probably be the same with travel cost if the product or service is available at your place, finding them locally without the internet still costs much.

Moreover, the internet enabled network marketing companies to contact targeted markets in a more convenient way. With internet, individuals can study the product and services on unlimited personal time. TV, radio and print just could not do such. Conventional ads often describe products or services shortly at less than 1 minute. A particular TV or radio ad is not even played all time when you are free watching or listening to them. Print ads somehow addressed the TV and radio ad flaw (ad, being not played all time), but they too are limited in content.

Network Administrator Certifications – An Overview

March 30th, 2010

In the modern business world, computers are king. Widely present in offices of all types, from law firms to doctors’ offices to the business world, these machines have the ability to store and quickly manipulate large amounts of data. Computers have been around in one form or another since the 1940s; however, it was only since the 1980s that computers enjoyed widespread use in business, with personal and networked computing truly gaining popularity when the Internet became widely available in the 1990s.

Accordingly, the number of computer-related careers has expanded considerably in availability and scope since then. There exist jobs for high- and low-level programming professionals; user interface designers; and software engineers. These jobs typically require extensive schooling, with additional experience acquired on the job.

There are, however, information technology and computer jobs that require significantly less schooling. Individuals are employed as network administrators; technical support professionals; and computer repair technicians — and often, they are eligible for this sort of employment after just several months of study. This article will discuss some types of quick-study computer education and career training programs that lead to professional certification — and often, directly to technology careers.

The A+ certification is designed to prove a student’s abilities as a general computer technician. A+-certified technicians understand computer systems inside and out. They are as comfortable working with hardware (the “guts” of the computer) as they are with operating systems, software, networks, and files. They have the ability to troubleshoot computer problems and to achieve resolutions to those problems.

Students seeking technical support, computer repair, or networking administration careers often begin with the A+ certification. This certificate is recognized as showing worker competence and achievement in several computer- and technology-related fields. CompTIA sets the standards for this exam, which provides a good foundation for further competency classes and exams, such as Linux/UNIX exams and various network certifications. This certificate can lead to an entry-level technology career, from which the worker might eventually move to an advanced technical support or networking career.

The Network+ certification is also a CompTIA standardized exam. To prepare for this exam, students will study the basics of computer networking, as well as more advanced networking concepts. These concepts can include networking hardware; Ethernet setup and configuration; cable interface; network protocols like TCP/IP protocols, and wireless networking. Students will also study how to connect networked systems and to set up clients and servers for remote Internet access.

CompTIA suggests that individuals who wish to seek a career in the networking field should have 9 months of experience, or equivalent training, before sitting for the certification exam. There also exist a number of adult learning institutions and quick-study programs that can give students the appropriate levels of experience they will need for such an exam.

Like the A+ certification, the Network + certification also enables students to pursue further technology certifications, or to seek increasingly advanced computer technology career positions. The Network + certification is also good preparation for other certifications, such as those required by Cisco or Novell.

The Security 5 certification is established and administered by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants. This organization considers it to be an entry-level security certification. Nonetheless, it is recommended that students or network administration career professionals possess the equivalent knowledge of A+ and Network + exam material if they wish to seek careers in network security.

This exam covers a variety of network and desktop security principles. Students will need to have a solid foundation of basic computer security concepts, like firewalls and hack-proof log-ins. They will also need to understand computer cryptography, e-mail and communications security, secure site and Web browser procedures, and file transfer/FTP security. Desktop and hard drive security, portable and wireless security, and secure computing with third-party devices are additional topics covered.

This exam, when combined with another professional certification or prior networking and information systems experience, can be a powerful career asset. For those computer users who are not employed in the networking or information sciences sectors, the Security 5 certification can be a great asset in protecting the privacy and integrity of personal data.

The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification is specific to information technology applications in the Windows desktop environment and Windows operating system. It is considered to be a beginner-level credential, and it demonstrates that an individual is competent in assisting end users and helping to test and troubleshoot Microsoft desktops and applications. This Microsoft certificate can be completed in tandem with other certifications supported by Microsoft, including the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification and the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDA).

Currently, professional Windows environments are in a transitory phase between Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista. Vista’s large allocated operating memory requirements and compatibility difficulties have caused XP to remain widely used in the workplace — so there are some career environments in which the MCDST, MOS, MCDA, and other certifications are necessary. Network administration specialists and information sciences students should be aware, however, that Microsoft is changing the certification requirements in accordance with the new Vista user interface and desktop functions.

Network Marketing Business Opportunities – Scam Or Legitimate?

March 27th, 2010

You may have thought about joining the network marketing business that seems so popular now, but like many people, you are probably hesitant to try out something that so many people claim is a scam. You have a right to be cautious, as many companies that advertise their supposed marketing businesses are actually scams. However, it is possible to make money from several network marketing business opportunities, whether you are looking to make a living or just need some extra income.

Analyze Claims

Before jumping into such a business with both feet, you should know what makes a network marketing business. This way, you can examine a company and determine right away if it is a scam. One surefire way to figure out if a company is reputable is to analyze their claims. If a company guarantees that anyone can make money overnight with no work, you know to run far away. After all, no one gives away money for no reason. What are they getting out of it?

Sales And Marketing

You should know that network marketing is not its own industry, but a process of distribution of products or services. Network marketing companies have to rely on representatives of the organization to market their products and services, selling as many products as possible. This system saves money for the company, as this way they do not have to hire a separate marketing department. Hiring people to work from home saves every company money on brick and mortar company costs, such as a building, desks, phones, and other equipment that a full-time marketer would require. For this reason, most companies are happy to pay marketers a percentage of the profits, as they are saving money already just by having each marketer work from home.

Recruiting

Another aspect of most network marketing business opportunities is that you can make extra money by recruiting other people to sell products. This is considered your own sales team, and you make a percentage of each salesperson’s profits. This way of making money is completely legitimate. Unlike what some people may think at first, this is not a pyramid scheme, which is illegal. The difference here is that pyramid schemes typically do not rely on sales of a service or product. Rather, they rely purely on recruiting others, only promising that they will make a lot of money in the future, which clearly does not usually happen.

Overall, if a supposed marketing company promises that you will make a lot of money immediately, without selling anything or really doing any work, it is not a reputable marketing opportunity. You should take heart, however, as there are plenty out there.

Troubleshooting Your Dish Network Receiver

March 27th, 2010

It has happened to all of us. It’s fourth and ten with just 1:42 to go in the second half – and of course your team is down. The weather outside is getting worse and worse. Suddenly, the image on your TV looks eerily like the snow falling outside your window. It is a race against the game clock to get picture back on your TV before you have to resign and just look for the score on the evening news.

Remember, only on a rare occasion will you lose picture with Dish Network – when you do, more often than not, there is nothing wrong with your equipment or the service. This article discusses some of the easiest and fastest ways to troubleshoot your Dish Network receiver. From High in the Sky to Your Dish Network Receiver

Dish Network uploads programming to its satellites via gigantic transmission stations on earth. The digital image travels upward through the atmosphere where it eventually finds satellites orbiting the Earth miles above the United States. Those satellites capture and resend the digital signal in such a way that nearly everyone with a plain view of the sky can receive it. The signal is collected by the ubiquitous mini-dishes and sent through cables to your Dish Network receiver, which is set up to decode and convert the digital signal to a viewable picture. That viewable picture is transferred to your brand-new, 56 inch widescreen plasma TV, where only moments ago you were watching the second half of your favorite team’s football game. The Game Plan

If you suddenly lose picture on your TV, the problem could be in any one of six places – but before you panic, let me tell you you’re only going to have to check four of them. The Dish – If something interferes with the signal getting from the satellite down to your dish the picture is obviously going to suffer. If the signal is completely blocked, your picture will disappear. Make sure that there is nothing between your dish and where your dish is pointing in the sky. This could include: a tree branch, your motor home, your neighbor’s motor home, a build-up of snow, ice, or excessive water on the dish, or anything else you could possibly imagine. Luckily, the solution is simple. Get the signal flowing freely back to your Dish Network receiver by removing the obstruction. Of course, if the obstruction is your neighbor’s prize winning oak tree, be judicious as you contemplate ways of removing it (i.e. talk to her about it and figure out a solution together). If it is ice or snow just wipe the dish clean, and you’ll be back to your game before they even snap the ball. The Cables and Connections – The wiring and connecting pieces that carry the signal from the dish to your Dish Network receiver could also be part of the problem. It is unlikely that the image will suddenly cut out on you, especially in the fourth quarter, if the wiring is bad. The easiest way to test this is to ensure that the integrity of the cables is still intact and that all of the connections are tight. If you are still not getting picture to your television, try plugging the cables into another TV, or routing the picture through your VCR. If you still have no football game, try using different cables. If the picture comes back at any time while you are doing this, you’ve honed in on where the problem is and you can go about fixing it… after the game, of course. Your Dish Network Receiver – On a very rare occasion, your receiver may stop receiving or decoding the signal properly. To fix this, simply unplug the receiver for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. (Don’t worry – 1:42 can last anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes at the end of a football game.) You can also try taking the programming card out of the receiver and then putting it back in again. Both of these steps help reset the receiver, and it should start functioning properly again as soon as you turn it back on. Your New Plasma TV – I’m no expert on troubleshooting TVs that cost more than my car, but checking the cables and connections is never a bad thing. A word of advice from one who has been there and done that – make sure the back of your huge, heavy television is readily accessible. The only thing that will make you more angry than missing the miracle comeback of your favorite team in that game you are missing, is dropping that massive television on your toes as your were breaking your back moving it out from the wall.

The good news is your team came back from behind and won. The better news is you read this article and were able to watch it live. The best news is you kept your cool and because your wife was so impressed with the way you handled the whole situation, she bought you a pool table.

The Beauty Of The Binary Pay Plan

March 26th, 2010

There are lots of Multilevel or Network Marketing Plans. Over the years I had often heard of MLM programs with a Binary Pay Plan but at those times I had mistaken impressions of the Binary Pay Plan which unfortunately stopped me from joining those MLM programs. Talk of not profiting from the longer leg of a Binary Plan had unfortunately closed my eyes and ears to The Beauty of the Binary Pay Plan.

MLM program pay plans are a bit like girlfriends or boyfriends. You believe that the one you have is the best.

Whatever your preconceptions are of a Binary Pay Plan are, you will want a Binary Pay Plan MLM program after reading this article.

I’m going to show you how to take extreme advantage of a Binary Pay Plan so get ready for extreme enlightenment. Like all my articles this will also contain hands on nitty gritty things to do that actually work and will change and excite you for the better.

In most MLM programs your upline members are very helpful but usually don’t go as far as to place members under you to improve your profit line. They may step in initially to get you on your feet and off to a good start for both you and them, but that’s basically where it stops.

It is often said in MLM that “You make money on your downline and not on your upline so look after your downline”. In most MLM pay plans this is true, but not in a Binary Pay Plan because your upline has no choice but to at the least place half of his new members under you if not all of them!

In a Matrix plan you can also get members from your upline, which is often called “Spill Over”. In a Matrix your upline member may have five people on his first level which means that you may only get one fifth (1/5) of any spill if you happen to be on his first level, less if you are on his second and so-forth.

A Binary Pay Plan has only two legs, thus the Bi in Binary, meaning two. Every new member is placed one under the other. In a Binary Pay Plan you will find yourself in one of your uplines two legs. Depending on the person. the two legs are often called the “Right and left leg” or “Longer and shorter leg” or “Stronger and weaker leg”.

The “Longer” or “Stronger” leg will be the leg you joined into and It will always be longer and stronger because of all the people above you who are constantly putting new members under you. You are getting free paying members put under you! This is unheard of or vary rarely seen in most other MLM pay plans.

The shorter or weaker leg is the new leg you start. You build this leg to cash in on the free longer stronger leg you originally joined. Apart from any required placements, rarely would you have to place members into your stronger leg, so everyone you recruit is placed into your new leg, your shorter leg. Your job is to build just one leg placing every new member One Under The Other benefiting all members in that leg.

Depending on which MLM Binary Program you join will dictate how many members you need to place in each of the two legs to receive group commission payments.

For example; the MLM program I am in says that I must sponsor one member into my left leg and one member into my right leg to qualify for group commissions. So my mission is to personally sponsor two (2) members, one into my original leg and one into my new leg. Royalty or group commissions are paid on “groups of members”.

Here is my group commission example: For every three members in my short leg I get paid on six members in my long leg. So if I have 300 members in my short leg then I will be paid on 600 members in my long leg. In most other programs I would only be paid on the 300 members I and my members brought in, if that!

The beauty of the binary program lies heavily in the fact that;

1. You only need to sponsor two people to qualify for group commissions.

2. You are paid on twice as many people as the group you build.

3. You only have to build one leg.

4. Every member you sponsor is placed under all the other members in the leg you are building.

5. All members benefit from all new members sponsored by all upline members in that leg.

6. The above points are easy to explain and powerful points to recruit new and experienced MLM members.

Apart from group commissions and depending on the program you join, you can receive a great bonus on each and every person you personally sponsor.

Tip! With online binary pay plans you often have the advantage of joining a downline for free and evaluating that company, system and downline prior to joining. ProBuilderPlus is such a company. Take the free tour: Click Here
With current internet automation you can have every person you sponsor automatically placed in either your longer or shorter leg or have placement automatically alternated evenly between the two legs. As your new leg grows it will pick up incredible speed like a small snow ball rolling down a snow covered mountain.

In a Binary Pay Plan I can tell my prospects that when they join I will be placing all future members I sponsor under them, members that they will profit on. Can you say this with any other MLM and do it? A Binary Pay Plan lets you help others whilst helping yourself. Read on :
